Back-Office Operations
A back office built for the organization you've become.
Organizations that grow from a few dozen employees to several hundred, open new locations or complete acquisitions often find the front end working well while the back office runs on workarounds. Purchasing, onboarding, contracts, facilities and reporting are handled by whoever is available. Meridian organizes these functions into clear processes with named owners, so administrative work supports growth rather than slowing it.
When to call us
Signs it's time for an outside perspective.
- The organization has grown quickly, but administrative processes haven't changed
- Contracts, renewals and vendor obligations are tracked informally, if at all
- Handoffs between departments regularly stall or get lost
- New locations or acquired teams operate with their own tools and processes
- Leadership spends time resolving administrative issues that should be routine

FAQ
Common questions
Does Meridian take over our bookkeeping, payroll or HR compliance?
No. Meridian does not provide accounting, tax, audit, legal, employment-law or benefits services. We design and organize the operational processes around those functions and work alongside your accountants, auditors and employment counsel.
We're about to acquire another business. Is this the right time?
It's a good time. Defining the back-office standard before integration makes it far easier to bring the new team onto common processes rather than running two parallel operations.
Do you recommend software?
Where tools would help, we define requirements and help you evaluate options. Meridian is independent and does not resell software or take vendor commissions.
